Your Rental Situation Could Be Worse
Really. Trust us. Falling asleep in absolute silence in a federal government–owned building in my pajamas was harder than I expected. All I could do was lie still and wonder how my life brought me to this windowless office in Washington, D.C. Or worry that a stranger was going through …
Rebranding America: New Flags for Every State
The folks over at NJI Media redesigned every state flag in America at UnitedWeBrand.us, for Flag Day tomorrow. If you don’t, sit back, uncork a nice bottle of wine, kick your feet up and reevaluate your entire life. The Fault in Our Stars: The Review
Let’s lay our cards on the table, shall we? This is a good movie, but you will not have a good time at this movie. I would say that the movie is an emotional roller coaster, but that would imply that it actually goes up at some point. Everyone in the theatre was sniffling, whimpering, or straight up balling except for me. But that’s not because I’m heartless: I wept like an 18th century French poet during the first 10 minutes of “Up”.
The cast makes the characters relatable and sympathetic. It has good pacing and writing that, while not award winning, accomplishes its mission. Buy a ticket or wait for Netflix, either is an acceptable option. Just be prepared to contemplate the mortality of your friends, family, and self for multiple hours after it’s over.
Hide and Sneak DC
DC’s newest sneaker event, Hide & Sneak DC, scheduled for June 28 promises to be unlike all other sneaker swap events. This event will bring together local artists, designers, DJs — and of course, sneaker lovers of all walks. The venue is super dope, too – it’s a subterranean art gallery in Adams Morgan. If you’re a sneaker head, you can’t miss this event.

Ladies and gentlemen FamousDC presents Neighbors: The Review. The Skinny (No spoilers) Neverland.
