Despite the crisp fall temperatures you’ve been feeling around DC, Capitol Hill was on fire last night.

Fireside21 and FamousDC brought out the best of Washington’s politicos, media gurus and more for an open house to welcome the newest class of incoming Members of Congress. The crowd at Stanton & Greene grew quickly, and it was easy to see that all in attendance had a blast. Signs welcomed guests as they entered the venue and made their way upstairs to a room filled with DC’s movers and shakers – all of whom joined the party to take a brief break from an otherwise bustling work week. And while it’s hard to say which office brought the biggest crowd, everyone can agree on the night’s MVP: the Bipartisan Bourbon Punch signature cocktail, offered alongside other libations and gourmet hors d’oeuvres.

Guests mingled, smiled and laughed together all night, while also making time to enjoy an impressive lineup of finger foods and delicious cocktails. All the while, Fireside21’s top notch step and repeat provided a backdrop for professional photography and selfies alike…which some might argue are all too similar these days.
