Do you have what it takes to be a firefighter?

Last month, DCFD hosted Fire Ops 101 – a program designed to teach laymen (non-lifesaving heroes like ourselves) what it takes to rush into burning buildings, extract victims trapped in destroyed vehicles, and offer emergency medical assistance to those in need.

The various situations were controlled and of course supervised, giving participants a safe look into what firefighters do on a daily basis. FamousDC intern MVP, Evan Frolov took a dive into this heated situation, but remained cool at all times.
