Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that is to be taken as seriously as the type of tequila you put into your frozen margarita and any Mexpert knows that no margarita is the same – just ask Don Julio.

Recognizing the importance that Americans have placed on a Mexican holiday that Mexico doesn’t even really care about, we want you to celebrate it properly and, most of all, responsibly. We did our duty as selfless members of the community and taste tested (and approved) some of the spots around DC that are sure to be so caliente today, Mexico couldn’t even hang.
