Carl Hulse writes in the New York Times:
Mr. Boehner has a new press secretary familiar to the Capitol and White House press corps — Emily Schillinger, currently communications director for Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming and for the Republican Policy Committee.
Described by Mr. Barrasso as unflappable and relentlessly good humored, Ms. Schillinger was a protégée of and aide to Dana Perino, then White House spokeswoman, for two years during the administration of President George W. Bush. She has also been a press secretary for the Commerce Department as well as communications director for the House Natural Resources Committee.
“She brings to Boehnerland a wealth of experience at the center of high-profile debates, and we are fortunate to have her on the team,” Mr. Boehner said.
Good on you Emily, doing big things.
