thirst ROMPThirst DC, the District’s boozy, nerdy social experiment, in collaboration with Uncurbed DC is proud to announce thirst : ROMP, a highly curated experience that brings together DC’s best artists and speakers for a boozy brunch like no other. ROMP will take place from 1:00-4:00PM on Sunday, March 25th at 1134 19th Street, NW, a whimsical, three-story, vacant property.

Thirst DC’s founder Eric Schulze says, “Thirst DC promotes unconventional ways of learning, and what better way to tickle a neuron than to first feed it from DC’s best food trucks and drown it in beer.”

On the top floor, Schulze, a featured speaker, will be giving a talk entitled “Sagan vs. Seacrest”. Additionally, Simon Owens of creative agency JESS3 will be explaining the history and evolution of memes, using memes. On the second level, artists Gregg Deal and Jason Edward Tucker will be featuring their work and creating impromptu art. DJ Yorker will be spinning during the event. Local art will be displayed and available for sale throughout the venue.
