Help NRCC political director Mike Shields scare children by contributing to cancer research. Shields has already raised $7K for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which funds child cancer research; if he gets to $15K, he’ll shave his head and donate photos to Hotline.

I’ve answered the call to be a hero! I’m having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

According to fellow NRCC employee Michael Kaplan, Shields is already at $11,000. “If we can get Mike to $14,000, I’ll personally see to it that he reaches is goal of $15,000. He’ll look much better bald,” said Kaplan.
