Barney, President Bush’s dog, was fed up with the treatment his daddy (W) has been receiving from the mainstream media and finally took matters into his own paws [actually, mouth] today.
Barney quietly walked away, but was very open with the media when later asked about the incident.
REPORTER: “Barney, would you care to comment on what happened earlier today.”
BARNEY: “You’re damn right I’ll comment. That was a message from me to main stream media that I’ve had about enough of them. I want to tear those **&* !%&*!$ up. I’m serious (pointing at camera) – you tell me the time and place and I’ll be there.”
REPORTER: “Wow, that’s a lot of rage for a 14 pound dog. So what are your plans once you leave the White House?”
BARNEY: “Well, first I’m going to spend a few days in the Virgin Islands with my friend Jay-Z. He has a new boat that he wants to show me and because I’ve been tied up here with all of the White House stuff, I haven’t been able to peep is new watercraft. After that, I’m really not sure what’s instore for the B-man – But it will be good to get back in the jazz scene. I’ve missed that.”
