Weber, most recently editor of Bloomberg Markets Magazine, is replacing Megan Murphy as she moves to London; After nearly four years with The Daily Beast, Tim Mak is joining NPR’s Washington Desk. Also, re-joining NPR as a political reporter is Asma Khalid, who most recently spent a year covering tech and economic issues for WBUR; CNN Politics writer Miranda Green is making moves to The Hill to cover the environment and energy beat; Former IJR Congressional reporter Haley Byrd is now covering Congress for The Weekly Standard; The Bloomberg Environment team is pleased to welcome Bobby Magill as its newest energy reporter; Lara Jakes, most recently night editor for the New York Times’ Washington bureau and former managing editor for Foreign Policy magazine, has a new role as deputy editor.
