As tomorrow is the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November, we figured what better time to announce another candidate that you should be electing. Today, A Cure for Ellie Foundation announced Ellie McGinn, an eight-year-old with a rare and data brain disease, as a last minute candidate for another consideration as part of the 2016 elections.
Despite which end of the political spectrum you normally side with, you can all join in being stronger together by electing to take The Ellie Challenge, an ongoing national campaign to help Ellie change the name of her hard to pronounce brain disease.
With all of the hatred and drama this presidential election has caused, its time we turn away from it all and redirect our attention back to the important issues we face in this world. So, please do your part in making America great again by accepting The Ellie Challenge on a short video and challenging three others to do the same.
Participants who pronounce Ellie’s current disease name correctly on video will be given a chance to rename it. If you are unable to pronounce the disease name correctly, please share your attempts on social media using the hashtag #TheEllieChallenge on Facebook or Twitter and donate towards a cure.
So when you go to the polls tomorrow, forget about names like Trump and Clinton, the only person you should focus on is electing Ellie in this 2016 Elliection cycle.
