Friday Round Up
Weather: We aren’t facing an imminent threat to public safety, so it’s safe to say our weekend weather is very fortunate. However, Washingtonians will begin to feel some of Matthew’s sour attitude beginning tonight, when moisture increases, breezes pick up and temperatures drop down to lows in the upper 50’s. An overcast and occasionally rainy Saturday shouldn’t slow us down, and temperatures should be manageable – hovering in the mid-to-upper 60’s. And if Hurricane Matthew continues to pull away from us, look forward to a picturesque autumn Sunday, with partly-to-fully clear skies and temperatures in the low-to-mid 60’s.
Awesome events you can attend this weekend: You can get cultured, well fed and maybe even a little tipsy at the always fantastic Taste of DC this Saturday and Sunday (check FamousDC’s Twitter for a special discount); Don’t miss out on Union Market’s Drive-In Series Finale tonight, featuring “Ghostbusters”; Catch Sylvan Esso, Passion Pit, Empire of the Sun and more at the All Things Go Fall Classic on Saturday; Tonight the Black Cat hosts Nashville’s best band by a name we won’t mention; Throw your own party – our Spotify playlists are on POINT.
