The Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is taking down voter apathy one cocktail at a time. Combining two very likely forces, drinking and the 2016 presidential election, the hotel’s Lobby Bar is offering a choice of two cocktails, “The Democrat” and “The Republican,” to predict the results of the 2016 presidential election.

When FamousDC asked general manager Shane Krige what inspired this event he stated that,“during an election year, we like to put together something fun for our guests.  Our Unofficial Presidential Cocktail Poll lets them enjoy a great cocktail while casting their unofficial vote.” We’ll drink to that (and even vote twice).

If you’re a registered voter, or have $14 to spare, cast your vote at the Fairmont and see which cocktail will soon be moving into the White House. As of Monday, September 26th, Hillary Clinton was leading by two points.

So if you wake up to missed calls from your ex and a  sticker on your shirt that reads “I Votrd” you’ll know why.
