Many dream of reporting live from remote locations, broadcasting through torrential downpour or dangerous gunfire. At the Newseum, these hopefuls can live out their dreams, standing behind a fake news desk and reading a teleprompter in front of a green screen.
Thanks to the Newseum’s YouTube channel, which features hundreds of fake broadcast videos, you can watch these citizens live out their dreams, and it is oh so beautiful.
