By Politiquette’s Marissa Mitrovich: Politiquette is a place to be inspired by the art of fashion. Readers gain an understanding of the politics of why to wear–and the etiquette of when to wear–specific styles. Marissa Mitrovich founded Politiquette with the goal of bringing further substance to the dialogue surrounding style in DC.
FamousDC is in Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention, so it’s only appropriate that I spent some time talking with local handbag designer Jeffrey Levinson.
Jeffrey Levinson has a history working in design. In fact, his former job at the automobile company Jaguar inspired his commitment to ensuring high quality design for his handbags. The beautiful capsule shaped bags are made of aero-space grade aluminum material and large enough to fit a woman’s most important accessory, her smartphone. You can also hear your phone ring and feel your phone vibrate thanks to the patented technology used to make each bag. Jeffrey’s bags are made in America, with many elements of the design made in Philadelphia!
Jeffrey’s bags can be purchased directly on his website here and will be available on Moda Operandi beginning on August 5.
Watch my interview with Jeffrey to see many of his bold colored handbags and the specific bag he picked for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
