We’re onto day two of the Republican National Convention, and today was expectedly wild. Here’s our recap. If you missed yesterday’s recap, click here.
TUESDAY IN NEWS:
- Today’s theme is “Make America Work Again,” and the convention is featuring speakers including Donald Trump’s children, Governor Chris Christie, and House Speaker Paul Ryan.
- The media is in a frenzy about Melania Trump’s speech last night, which, in parts, is eerily similar to a speech Michelle Obama gave at the 2008 Democratic convention.
- Trump apparated in white light onto the stage as “We Are the Champions” by Queen blasted from the speakers. Queen is not happy about this.
- Multiple California GOP staff members have been quarantined at the convention after falling ill with norovirus. We recommend you stay away from anyone that says “hella” a lot or keeps talking about how they miss In-N-Out.
- Some pretty excellent dancing happened.
