The White House and the Pentagon are places of serious business. Politicians and security advisors have a lot of tense meetings about our national security… but, at the same time, they’ve got a more pressing matter to address.
They’ve gotta catch em’ all.
We’re not even kidding. The White House and the Pentagon are designated as Pokemon Go gyms, or places where phone-wielding Washingtonians can battle their Pokemon in real time.
If you haven’t heard of Pokemon Go, here’s a rundown:
Last week, Nintendo released their newest iteration of the popular card and video game, this time, in an app. The app tracks the user’s coordinates on a giant city map, and as you move around the area, you can catch Pokemon in your neighborhood.
Pokemon is no longer a sedentary game, and people are doing crazy things to get to their Pikachus. Thousands of people. One girl found a dead body while searching for a Pokemon. Other people have been pulled over for reckless driving.
Central Park in NYC looks like this right now.

We Poked around the internet to find the most ridiculous things Pokemon Go has made people do, and we’ve gotta tell you, it’s pretty hilarious (and slightly concerning). Here’s our favorites:

Here’s to hoping that Obama and Biden are dominating the White House Pokegym.
