The past couple of weeks have been pretty stellar for soccer fans.
Two massive soccer tournaments, the Copa America and the UEFA European Championship, overlapped in June, to the delight of many jersey-wearing Washingtonians.
Sadly, the fútbal frenzy is nearly over. The Euro Cup championship match between Portugal and France is happening this Sunday at 3 p.m. Where’s the best place in the District to watch and grab a pint? FamousDC’s got the list.

This authentic beer garden has three different bars and tons of German lager to sip while watching the game. Make sure to dress up, because they’ve been known to offer specials to those donning their team’s attire.
5. The Queen Vic
1206 H St. NE
This British pub takes its football very seriously. This Sunday, they’ve got $5 pints of Carlsberg and Guinness, free soccer-themed gifts, and tons of food specials. Also, if you call football “soccer,” the British owners say they reserve the right to kick you out of the pub.
