Join FamousDC (aka Switzerland) in cheering on both Members of Congress and the DC Press Corps at the Congressional Women’s Softball Game this Wednesday, June 15th.

For three years now, Congress has dominated the field. This year, the capital’s reporters are ready for revenge – and it’s all going on the record. Check out Twitter in the days leading up to the big game since the players are known for some digital trash talk.  

The women have been practicing hard and the team rosters look stronger than ever. The political ladies are getting down and dirty at 6:00 PM in the Watkins Rec Center; Tickets for the game and after-party are available now for a cheap $10 — which is probably less than your venti iced soy vanilla latte. Donations and proceeds from the game benefit the Young Survival Coalition, an organization doing great things for young women with breast cancer.

It’s sure to be a home run so go watch the two teams throw like girls and knock Wednesday night out of the park.
