ROUNDUP PRESENTED BY

National Confectioners Association #AlwaysATreat

#NationalCandyMonth is a time to revel in a classic American manufacturing success story. If you enjoy the occasional treat, appreciate the strong economic impact of a responsible and fun industry, or if you just love candy, this is a month made for celebration. Most people enjoy candy about twice per week, averaging about 40 calories per day from confectionery items. That’s less than 2 percent of the average American’s overall caloric intake.

It’s National Candy Month.

The National Confectioners Association has made summer even sweeter by celebrating “National Candy Month” this June. It’s not that we needed an excuse to celebrate our beloved snacks, but it’s nice to be informed about the finer things in life – the authentic and fun treats that candy companies have been producing for over a hundred years.

If we look this good when we’re over a hundred years old, we’re in pretty good shape.

Watch our interview with Christopher “Gindy” Gindlesperger of the National Confectioners Association to learn more about all the sweet things they’re doing for the month of June – or just watch it because #candy.

From politics and pop culture to pretty useless information, you’ll be able to find it in our Monthly Round Up. (You don’t have to tell us how creative the name is, we already know.)
