Dating in this town is a challenge – just ask any Washingtonian. But throw in the chance at saving a life?

Erica Andrew, candidate for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) National Capital Area Woman of the Year, is doing just that. On Saturday, this single lady will be auctioned off in support of the more than one million Americans who are living with blood cancers.

The date auction – Bid Farewell to Blood Cancer – will raise funds to support LLS’ mission of finding cures for blood cancer patients, and ensuring access to treatment. Attendees will have fun competitively bidding on 11 of D.C.’s most eligible single men and women during a live auction, with the chance to go on a variety of exclusive dates including Wizards games, whiskey tastings, concerts which beats any dating app, if you ask me.

The event is sure to be a great time and maybe even a story for the grandkids. Before you go home, go bid for Erica Andrew and all the other auctionees!
