The Second Congressional Hackathon was an auspicious success last Friday. The free event was hosted by House Majority leader Kevin McCarthy and House Democratic whip Steny Hoyer, and brought over two hundred programming experts, legislative leaders, and industry innovators to work together across party lines to confront the technical challenges facing our nation’s legislative branch, with an eye toward modernizing the institution in the present and anticipating the challenges of the future.

This worthy annual event will hopefully continue to serve as a beacon of bipartisan cooperation for years to come.
