“The Pope visits the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, on Wednesday afternoon, and this casual bar/restaurant is less than two blocks away. Head in for an impressive list of religious-themed beers, such as Evil Twin Brewing’s “Double Barrel Jesus,” Nebraska Brewing Co.’s “Hop God,” and Brookland’s own variety, “No Pope, ‘Til Brookland.” The menu, which also includes a selection of Trappist Monk-brewed beer, is available all week; beers start at $6 per pint.”
