The Internet Association hosted a swath of internet luminaries at their “interactive gala” benefitting Girls Who Code, which was pretty rocking: They had a video tribute by Sheryl Sandberg, a cocktail reception sponsored by TripAdvisor, a relaxation room sponsored by Airbnb and decorated by Little Miss Pixie, and a dessert after party sponsored by Facebook with an AOL interactive photobooth.
The event brought together over 200 of the most recognizable names in the Internet economy with lawmakers, administration officials and civic leaders to benefit STEM education for young women and girls. See more about the event here.
