Save for those cherished tie-free days during recess, a gentleman’s dress code on the Hill requires sporting a necktie of sorts. And let’s admit it, the same old ties can get boring day-in and day-out.
Thank goodness, there’s a solution to all your necktie (and Father’s Day gift) woes. And that solution also helps babies in Uganda.
Just in time for Father’s Day, you’re invited to come “Tie one on” with Tie Try and OperationIncubation Thursday, June 14 at Mason Inn.
From 8-11 pm, a $10 donation to Operation Incubation at the door will get you a free trial subscription to Tie Try (Netflix for Neckties!–as seen on the Today! Show) and a Mason Inn mug for $2.50 Bud Light refills all night.
There will also be a raffle for a Sette tie, worth $265…and a favorite of George Bush 41 and 43!!
The event will be hosted by TieTry’s David Powers, a Wilmerhale associate, and Operation Incubation co-founder, Julie Eckert, who works as a press secretary in the Senate by day, and fully understands the ‘boring tie’ troubles experienced by men young and old all over the Hill.
Operation Incubation is a start-up nonprofit with a mission to reduce infant mortality by facilitating delivery of low-cost, low-maintenance incubators to communities in the developing world. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the purchase and shipment of infant incubators to a maternal and labor ward in Masindi, Uganda.
