Happy weekend Famous readers! Here’s your weekend lineup this last weekend of February. Bonus: it’s 70 degrees today! TGIF!

Friday

Jim Gaffigan – my brother and I saw this Georgetown alum last night and he was hilarious! I encourage you to grab whatever final tickets remain for his shows tonight or tomorrow night at the Warner Theater. For dinner beforehand, grab a yummy burger at Chef Geoff’s, or sushi and a meat stack (sliders piled high) at The Hamilton.

Caps vs Canadiens – being a hockey fan (ok, I go for the fights), there’s nothing better than grabbing a cold beer and cheering on the Caps. And, with Clyde’s, Redline, Rosa Mexicano, and the new Sixth Engine within walking distant to the Verizon Center, there are plenty of options for pre-game food and drink.

Saturday

Crime Museum – I can’t believe I didn’t know this museum existed but being a massive fan of CSI, I look forward to visiting this weekend. You should too – there’s even a simulated high-speed police-chase!

Burger Tour – last year, I participated in a Burger Tour with several Twitter friends and it was a blast. So, when I recently polled my twitter followers to see what their favorite burger joints are, I was excited by the results: BGR, Ray’s Hell Burger, Burger, Tap and Shake, Dino, Good Stuff.

DC Brau Brewery – I love beer, especially with burgers so why not venture out to this DC brewery for an afternoon tour and tasting? #winning

Sunday

Oscars – not in the mood to watch this year’s Oscars from your couch – why not head to Art Soiree’s Oscar Party at The Hamilton? Good food, drink and a fabulous venue? Seems perfectly appropriate to me.
