Erika Masonhall, communications director for NBC News, and Howard Fineman of the Huffington Post, talk with Adam Verdugo, back to camera, senior producer at Meet the Press, before a panel discussion at Comcast headquarters on the Hill Tuesday entitled “Covering the Middle East: Perspectives from the Field.”

Masonhall,  a former DC standout now in New York, and Verdugo were on hand to staff MTP’s David Gregory who moderated the event featuring a discussion by NBC journalists Ron Allen, Andrea Mitchell, and Richard Engel via Skype from Cairo, Helene Cooper of the NYT, and Andy Carvin of NPR.
