Here is a headline you don’t see everyday:
Lawmaker feud continues at ‘Lil Wayne concert
Two feuding state lawmakers took their jawing from the political arena to the concert hall this weekend.
State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal and State Rep. Jamilah Nasheed, both Democrats, have been embroiled in a war of words stemming from their opposing positions on the future of the St. Louis Police Department.
The best line:
As Nasheed tells it, her attempts to say hello to Chappelle-Nadal were met by a startling response.
“She said, ‘If I had a knife, I’d cut your [expletive] throat,” Nasheed said.
Chapelle-Nadal denies saying that.
