Yesterday, Jackson took to the House floor to talk about jobs. In an effort to prove that the chronically unemployed are left out of the most current unemployment numbers, he performed a magic trick while saying the following:
If you’re chronically unemployed and given up looking for a job you don’t count as unemployed in America … Houdin couldn’t have performed an illusion as clever as the Labor of Statistics.
We need more of this in Congress.
