The City of Alexandria announced the resignation of City Manager James Hartmann in a statement released to media just before the close of business Monday.

In case you’re not quite convinced that his resignation has anything to do with the snow, Hartmann announced he is exploring job opportunities in the Sunshine State.

“Florida a very attractive option,” Hartmann said.

Smart man.
