Last night’s landslide victory by House Republicans will mean big changes in Congress, but will it mean big changes for the House cafeterias?

Over the past couple of years, Nancy Pelosi has taken to greening the House cafeterias.  Included in this endeavor was the implementation of the compostable utensil initiative, which has led to numerous staff complaints about melting spoons. The upside, the spoons are edible and delicious.

So will a Republican majority mean no more melting utensils, or perhaps lower cafeteria prices?  We shall see.
