Are you ready for some football?!
…this chick is and although the football season is well underway, I love picking out my favorite spots to watch the games! Couch surfing is fun but nothing beats cheering on your beloved NFL and college teams over beer and wings. So where to frequent? Here is a list of my top 5 and a few more for measure:
Crystal City Sports Pub – living in Arlington makes this my #1 spot for football viewing. Decent food, cold beer, shiny TVs and 3 levels make this a dive-lover’s fave.
Black Finn – saloon-styled bar with flatscreen TVs and yummy martinis create a more upscale game watching experience. Bonus: the bar turns into a random dance club late night – fun for people watching.
Buffalo Billiards – tried and true, this spot never disappoints, and with thirty pool tables, numerous shuffleboard tables, and five jukeboxes, the entertainment is endless.
Public Bar – upscale, loft-style sports bar in the middle of DC-what more do you want?
Hawk ‘n Dove – this Capitol Hill bar attracts everyone from staffers and locals for drinks, gossip and games. Tip: There’s free food at happy hour.
Honorables: Mister Days, Nellie’s, Pour House, Molly Malones, Ugly Mug, Champp’s, McFadden’s, Murphy’s Irish Pub, RFD, 51st State Tavern, Rhino, Carpool
