FamousDC loves a good contest, so in the spirit of record-breaking summer temperatures, we’ve decided to sponsor another photo contest.

Our last contest, which took place during Snowmageddon, enjoyed tons of entries and thousands of votes.

This contest will again feature a celebrity panel of judges, so the pressure is on.  Remember, there is no such thing as a bad picture and creativity counts extra.

We’ll be accepting pictures via email, twitter or Facebook for the next week. [deadline is Wednesday, August 18]

We’ll open up the voting after all of the entries are in and our celebrity judges narrow them down to the top five.

Did you bring your pet into work? Did your neighbor’s tree fall on his house? Can you see a rainbow touching the top of the Capitol? Get out your cameras Washingtonians!
