Dave Matthews is on Team Elizabeth:  [um, no dude]

One of the first stories to come from former aide Andrew Young, author of the new book “The Politician,” was that John Edwards told Rielle Hunter that the couple would wed once Elizabeth Edwards had passed away. And Dave Matthews Band would play at the rooftop affair.

Dave Matthews recently gave a response. The bandleader told “Access Hollywood” on Thursday that Edwards never asked and that the band most likely wouldn’t have been interested. “I would make a fair bet that I would have said no to such an offer,” Matthews said. “Or, I would have charged him some incredible amount of money.”
