The final results are in for the Twitter Challenge SW quadrant. Remember, please send all hate mail to [email protected]
@erickaandersen vs. @robklause
WINNER: @erickaandersen
A smart move by @erickaandersen to leave a little gas in the tank. She didn’t blaze any Twitter trails, but she did rack up some quality endorsements.
@BetsyMTP vs. @TheSleuth
This competition put fire to sleep. @TheSleuth wins because @BetsyMTP hasn’t refreshed her content since Elton John was straight.
@kevinmaddendc vs. @robertjameson
WINNER: @robertjameson
Jameson came to play. Madden, a simple city boy–you might say a cockeyed optimist, mixed up in the high stakes game of world diplomacy and international intrigue – did not come to play.
WINNER: @GStephanopoulus
Neither of these fine fellows has acknowledged FDC, this challenge or something relevant to the news cycle in the last 24 hours. We would have allowed @robertbluey to take the second round spot had we known neither of these non-combatants were going to bore us to tears. We’ll give the edge to Snuffaluffagus because he has six times the followers as Joe, and has the decency to put on a tie once in a while. Joe, you’re on tv…we know it’s early in the morning and you’re from Florida, but still. If we have to get dressed for work, so do you.
WINNER: @Jess3
@The Fix is @TheBroken. While @Jess3 isn’t exactly lighting it up, we’ve got a feeling he’ll bring the heat next round. However, the contact section of his company page has us concerned. It says “Jesse does twitter but he likes facebook better.” What about the new Facebook? Not to mention, the Twitter world really wants to see a @leslieann44 vs. @Jess3 match up.
WINNER: @leslieann44
@leslieann44 brought the heat from the beginning and marches into round two. She will be a force to be reckoned with throughout the rest of the tourney and she’s obviously taking this mini-viral contest seriously. Proof: she hustles on the tarmac like Jay-Z . She’s made it rain from the opening round and has officially sent a message to the rest of the competition . Leslie Ann, brush your shoulder off and head into round two.
WINNER: @levydr
@levydr changed his name for St. Patrick’s Day and sent in clever FDC related pictures . But is he the most likely to die alone in the second round or is he the dark horse that will come out of nowhere?
WINNER: @pwgavin
Dear Patrick Gavin,
We remember you. Do you remember us? Remember when you emailed us several times per day? Remember the time we spent together exchanging tips? Remember when we named you one of the top five blogs in DC to read and you were appreciative? We understand this Twitter Challenge isn’t part of the "business model," but seriously…
You advanced to round two, but we’ve got our eye on you. Put down the camera and use a #FDC hashtag. Do it for Tom Brady. Do it for Eddie Vedder. Do it for the good ole days.
Sincerely,
FDC
