Rep. Tom Davis recently released a memo, [littered with problems] and probably wishes he could have take backs.
Calls for concern in his memo:
1. He misspells Barack Obama’s name throughout the entire memo. [Hire a copy editor]
2. For some reason he uses the term “tar baby” while trying to make a point. [try “honey pot” next time]
3. He tries to explain immigration in terms of land mines. [interestingly dramatic]
“Remember,” Davis writes, “Hispanic voters are a swing group in this election and future elections. John McCain, being from a border state, may be out of sync with many Republicans but he has standing among Hispanics. Barrack Obama has not made the sale to Hispanic voters. Thus, this issue is a tar baby for anyone who touches it, with land mines everywhere.”
Congressman, this memo is the reason why every office should have an approval process.
