In what can only be described as shocking predictable, Houston’s favorite colorfully-garbed skin doctor, Shelley Sekula Gibbs, (R- Hyphen) lost her primary bid Tuesday.

SSG, who became a quick, likeable character over at Wonkette, will be missed – especially by those willing to sing her praises in the comment section.

Perhaps the most important question left to beg – after failing to patch her image following the DeLay staff flap, will she attempt to re-brand her image again by tossing the hyphen back into her last name?

As Roll Call’s HOH pointed out today:

“Add the voters of TX-22 to the long list of people who have walked out on her,” one Democratic operative laughed.

A FamousDC reader, and former fan of Gibbs, emailed yesterday, saying only this:

“101 Dalmatians can now sleep sounder knowing Dr. Shelley Gibbs will no longer be wandering our streets.”

Not to be outdone, RedState contributors decided to present Gibbs with this farewell gift.

Dr. Clearasil, it is very evident that you’ll be missed.   Thanks for the memories.
