  • The Federalist

You all know by now that I get my brunch tips from the fabulous Bitches Who Brunch, and this week I’m recommending Sunday brunch at a restaurant they recently reviewed. It may have only gotten a B- by the Bitches’ standards, but the photos make it look swoon-worthy enough for this gal to sample. P.S. Did you catch FamousDC’s post on the Bitches? It’s a do-not-miss!

  • Serene Sundays

I had never heard of Hillwood Estates but upon learning about it and the events they host on Sundays throughout the fall, I’m both intrigued and psyched to check it out. You should too! 1-5pm; $5-$15.

  • Wisdom

I have been dying to check this venue out but due to its location (I know, bogus excuse), I have skipped on it countless times. Well, not this Sunday. The bar, which boasts an impressive cocktail list, is hosting “Rock on the Rocks” – a new series that pairs movies about music with specialty cocktails. Three of my favorite things!  “Beats, Rhymes and Life” – the acclaimed movie about one of my fave bands, A Tribe Called Quest, will be featured with the cocktail, Sky Pager. So fitting. Admission is free and the film starts at 7pm.
