Our good friends Michael Mansour and Ginny Veatch are getting married this year, and last week they sent out the most epic DC save the date ever. Full text below.

This is not a bill, it’s a save the date for a wedding.

Presumably Michael, a Legislative Assistant in Congress, has experience writing bills and we believe this deserves bipartisan support. Ginny, a Manager in Corporate Relations at U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will obviously send this around through private sector for its support.

Mr. Raymond J. Veatch, for himself and Mrs. Dawn R. H. Veatch, and Mrs. Michelle M. S. Mansour, for herself and the late and beloved Mr. John C. Mansour, introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Family, and in addition to the Permanent Select Committee on Love and Adoration, for a period so that it may be considered and reporter favorably by the Couple; subsequently recognized by the full assembly of Friends, Family, and Clergy; and finally be ratified by our creator.

To inform friends and family of Virginia A. H. Veatch and Michael V. Mansour II that the date of their wedding is September 26, 2014, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Family Veatch and the House of Mansours of the United States of America

in Congress assembled,

1 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

2 This Act may be cited as the ‘Marriage of Virginia A. H. Veatch to Michael V. Mansour II Act

3 of 2014’ or the ‘Ginny and Michael’s Nuptials Act’, (henceforth referred to in this Act as the

4 ‘wedding ceremony’),

5 SECTION 2. INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THE FESTIVITIES

6 The recipients of this document are hereby informed—

7          A. the date of this wedding ceremony is Friday, September 26, 2014, and

8         B. the location will be Washington, District of Columbia.

9 SECTION 3. ELECTRONIC MEDIA INFORMATION

10 The recipients of this document are advised they can and should regularly visit

11 the couple’s wedding website for travel accommodations, gift registry, and other pertinent details

12 regarding the wedding ceremony.

13 SECTION 4. FORMAL INVITATION

14     A formal invitation will be dispatched at a later date.
