Cheap DC Golf

Loyal FamousDC tipster, JS, passed this along:

In the past few months, two websites: livingsocial and groupon have taken the DC region by storm. Offering discounted entertainment in the metro region. From restaurants to gokarting, these deals are real and are essential for any staff-ass scraping by on $25k.

One sprung up today for discount golf at course in Fairfax County called Hilltop. A course that varies in altitude so drastically, it won’t let you walk the course, Hilltop is a 9 hole Scottish style course designed by Lindsay Bruce Ervin who designed Queenstown Harbor in Maryland. Interestingly, it was built on an old landfill. But don’t worry, it doesn’t smell.

$25 (a thousandth of your salary, probably) gets you 18 holes with cart, and range balls. And you can feel good about golfing green and saving some green as well.
