Big new news tonight on the Salahi front, from our colleagues Michael Shear and Jason Horowitz: The horse-country socialites corresponded with a top Pentagon aide in an effort to snag an invite to the White House state dinner. The official denies helping them in any way — but Tareq and Michaele have turned over copies of their e-mails with Michele S. Jones to the Secret Service. [give it to us from a different angle]
