Robocalls Are All the Rage

Posted on 02. Nov, 2009 by in From the Trail, Front Page, News

Sarah Palin just picked up her rotary phone and cranked out some robocalls in Virginia.  [pretty vague]

“Virginia, hello, this is Sarah Palin calling to urge you to go to the polls Tuesday and vote for Sarah’s principles. The eyes of America will be on Virginia and make no mistake about it, every vote counts. So don’t take anything for granted, vote your values on Tuesday, and urge your friends and family to vote, too.”

We had no idea she was supporting "Sarah’s Principles."  That’s who we’re supporting.

We’re just stoked that robocalls are still being used. It would be a darn shame if these highly effective forms of persuasion disappeared because of things like common sense.

DCPS uses robocalls all the damn time to inform parents of various happenings at the school their child attends. I get one about every other week.
