The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has fallen victim to a hacker.

Someone sent out a fake press release from the Chamber saying they had switched their position on climate change.

You can view the fake page here (before it is taken down).

At least one news organization “fell for it.”

Our question: what happens when someone steps forward to take “credit” for this?

UPDATE: Bara Vaida at National Journal admits she was also duped by the press release.

Any effort to figure out who is behind this?
