My Wife Calls Me Tim, But You Can Call Me T-Paw

Gov. Tim Pawlenty [MN], or T-Paw as he’d like you to call him, is thinking about running for President of the United States.

T-Paw, who’s been courted by the Right for quite some time, will finally announce his super-secret intentions today.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty has been quietly assembling the blueprint of a presidential campaign and will announce Thursday the support of a group of high-level political strategists and donors, complemented by a handful of top new media consultants, POLITICO has learned.

Pawlenty’s team includes Terry Nelson, Sara Taylor and Phil Musser. Other key players involved are Sam Geduldig, Alex Conant and Michael Toner.

Along with traditional political consultants, T-Paw has also strung together a polished team of new media professionals. Helping to assist Pawlenty with his web efforts and Twitter machine will be Patrick Ruffini, Mindy Finn, Patrick Hynes and Liz Mair.

The only aspect of his campaign we’re not quite familiar with is the "fill in the blank" Tweet feature that appears on his site. We think it’s clever, but could use some further explanation.

UPDATE: Patrick Ottenhoff asks a great question:
Does T-Paw hang out with C-Bass?

Seriously – we simply can’t have someone run for President with a nickname like TPaw. For the sake of the party please stop, stop now before too many people see this. If a campaign logo is in the works and is a play off of TPaw, please shutdown Illustrator and step away from the computer.
