Reports are coming in that fomer Rep. Tom DeLay has joined Facebook. We’re also told that he’s using his infamous mugshot as his profile pic – which in our opinion is fantastic. If you’re friends with DeLay on Facebook, be sure to forward him our Facebook guidelines , we’d hate to have to zing him for status abuse.

UPDATE 2: A commenter writes: "Tom DeLay will be to Facebook what Fabio was to I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter . We don’t know what the hell that means, but we tend to agree wholeheartedly.
UPDATE 3: An anonymous tipster tells us that "DeLay is doing every word of Facebook himself."

As a former school chum of Tom’s it’s REALLY great seeing him out and about again. Tom and Christine are wonderful people!
