The matches today did not disappoint.  Congrats to all the players.

Remember, we’re playing for charity people .

@matthewgagnon vs. @patrickruffini
OVERTIME
This news will likely send Ruffini into a tailspin, but the endorsements from planet NMS were enough to keep this one very close.  Oh, and this , this and this didn’t hurt either.  Ruffini, who called out Gagnon for his unauthentic twitter following will have to prove his fans are more loyal.  If it’s true that Ruffini is indeed the Rush Limbaugh of Twitter , this overtime match should be a cake walk.

NOTE: The overtime poll is now open and close tomorrow at 10am.  [poll below]

WINNER – @levydr
Jameson started out on fire today, especially when he introduced us to a sweet soundtrack of Twitter rap , but as the day wore on, he started slipping . @levydr, who’s been one of the tournament’s most consistent players, was no exception today. At the end of the day it came down to electoral votes – oh, and a huge endorsement from web giant David Almacy.

@mkhammer vs. @albrightDC
WINNER: @mkhammer
@albright came in with an early endorsement , and @mkhammer was late to the game due to real life. When she returned, she got down to business . She provided some hypnosis , and came up with a buzzer beater that couldn’t be beat. And even though she’d likely give us the cold shoulder if we met her at a bar, there’s not much we can do about our crush. MK: in case you’re interested, we hang out on the Hill, natch.
@seanhackbarth vs. @michaelturk
WINNER: @michaelturk
This battle between the bald and the (not so) beautiful was classic. @seanhackbarth set up a neato poll , but no one wanted to dance on it. @michaelturk straight owned @seanhackbarth with his powerful photoshop skillz . The smackdown was permanently laid with this , as explained by this . @seanhackbarth tried to resurrect some support from the departed , but @michaelturk took him to school . Also, incredible .
PS: for those of you searching for the closest Chik-Fil-A, look no further than GW’s campus.

VOTE EARLY AND OFTEN [Poll closes tomorrow at 10am]
