Dodd Takes Reporters Hostage

Mike Madden is bringing the hilarity today on his Twitter page as he covers the auto bailout hearings.

UPDATE 1: An hour into hearing, the Big Three CEOs are still sitting patiently waiting to begin their testimony. I will be here all day.

UPDATE 2: Chris Dodd has taken an entire room of journalists, witnesses, staffers and lobbyists hostage and he won’t let us out for lunch.

UPDATE 3: If someone were to deliver a large number of pizzas to Dirksen 106, they would be greeted as liberators.

UPDATE 4: The situation for the Big Three is SO URGENT that this hearing must, apparently, not be interrupted for anything.

UPDATE 5: Protesters interrupt bailout hearing to protest bailout, but sadly, that doesn’t prompt Dodd to call a break.
