I think this is GREAT. The kids are having fun and they’re learning politics without any bias. They must have a COOL teacher.

    Lyrics:
    Obama on the left
    McCain on the right
We can talk politics all night
And you can vote however you like
You can vote however you like, yeah
    Democratic left
    Republican right
    November 4th we decide
And you can vote however you like
You can vote however you like, yeah
    (McCain supporters)
    McCain’s the best candidate
With Palin as his running mate
They’ll fight for gun rights, pro life,
    The conservative right
    Our future is bright
    Better economy in site
And all the world will feel our military might
    (Obama supporters)
But McCain and Bush are real close right
They vote alike and keep it tight
    Obama’s new, he’s younger too
The Middle Class he will help you
He’ll bring a change, he’s got the brains
McCain and Bush are just the same
You are to blame, Iraq’s a shame
Four more years would be insane
Lower your Taxes – you know Obama Won’t
PROTECT THE LOWER CLASS – You know McCain won’t!
Have enough experience – you know that they don’t
STOP GLOBAL WARMING – you know that you won’t
    I want Obama
    FORGET OBAMA
Stick with McCain and you’re going to have some drama
    We need it
    HE’LL BRING IT
    He’ll be it
    YOU’LL SEE IT
    We’ll do it
    GET TO IT
    Let’s move it
    DO IT!
    Obama on the left
    McCain on the right
We can talk politics all night
And you can vote however you like
You can vote however you like, yeah
    Democratic left
    Republican right
    November 4th we decide
And you can vote however you like, I said
You can vote however you like, yeah
I’m talking big pipe lines, and low gas prices
Below $2.00 that would be nice
But to do it right we gotta start today
Finding renewable ways that are here to stay
    I want Obama
    FORGET OBAMA,
Stick wit McCain you gone have some drama
    MORE WAR IN IRAQ
    Iran he will attack
    CAN’T BRING OUR TROOPS BACK
    We gotta vote Barack!
    Obama on the left
    McCain on the right
We can talk politics all night
And you can vote however you like, I said
You can vote however you like, yeah
    Democratic left
    Republican right
    November 4th we decide
And you can vote however you like, I said
You can vote however you like, yeah

As wonderful as this is, it is only one of the great things that have come out of this election. “From the mouth of babes” they remind us in a very entertaining way that voting isn’t just an earned priveledge but a responsibility to our future and more importantly their future. If you don’t think teachers need to have a salary worth their weight in gold look at this video again. Kudos to this teacher, this educational institution and the children. Superb Job.

I thoroughly enjoyed the song performed by the students and all of those involved in presenting such a enlightening performance combined with a strong and profound message. America is beautiful, with beautiful people, and with ugly acting people who are in need of healing, but many of them don’t know that they are sick. Yes, racism is one of the worst sicknesses that a person can have and not get treatment for it…and worst, it eliminates the joys of life that one can experience. And, I dare to say that it is likely that the racism that they embrace and profess is not even of their own making…

The students while they are at school to learn, in their performance, they were actually teaching.

This is so HOT!!!!….this is a good way to reach out to our younger generation about politics. They looked like they enjoyed singing this to bring our younger generation together. Overall, I enjoyed this video. I send this to all my friends and they enjoyed it also. This is very catchy.

This video is the epitome of social studies and civics in a classroom. In just a few minutes, these children have demonstrated what it is like to live in a free country and understand the importance of the right to vote. Kudos to the teacher for a job well done. This is politics meets education. The future of our nation appears to be in good hands. God Bless.

    They are beautiful!

This brings up strong memories in my mind, as I remember when I attended an “exclusive and privileged” middle school too, just like these kids. The school always seemed to go out of their way to make us extra cute too. But, the lessons we learned were all too concrete. I’m sure you remember the “We Are The World”, and “Live Aid” days. These children are wonderful! I hope this project leaves them all with the same sense of awareness that my generation gained. Its the sort of experience that led to my many years of social and community involvement, my love of people, and my devotion to the betterment of our society.

Their teacher and founder of the school is actually a really cool white dude. The school’s whole philosophy on education is very creative. Check it out: http://www.ronclarkacademy.com.

It would be wonderful if the adults could look to these children as role models. It is okay to disagree….we don’t all have to agree, just respect each other and the process. These children are great and the teacher is inspiring. There is actually a movie that was done based on Ron Clark….Matthew Perry played Ron Clark in the movie I think. Great job with this. The parents should be proud….I am!

This was absolutely great! The teacher should be commended for their work with these kids. This shows how learning can be both fun and educational at the same time and it also shows how powerful this election is and how all Americans, young and old are involved.

EVERYONE VOTE HOWEVER YOU LIKE, JUST VOTE!

This is awesome! Knowledge is power! It is time everyone got involved to make a difference. It’s not about race, its about change! Kudos to the school, teachers, and especially the students for doing such a wonderful job. This is just one creative way to get our children involved in politics. I’m so elated. Obama as president and America is finally coming together after being divided for so long.

Talk about student engagement! This is wonderful. I’ve research the Ron Clark Academy after watching a television show about him. He is an awesome teacher. He motivates his students by doing whatever he has to. He definitely goes the extra mile. I can’t wait to share this with my co-workers. I’m definitely striving to have this type of impact on my students!
