WTOP is reporting that a convoy of 100 trucks is heading to the Capitol area right now. They’re driving up to protest high gas prices.
Stay tuned for updates – but also plan on a second round at T-Coast. The evening commute is going to suck.

Dear Truckers,
Next time you team up to protest high gas prices [which I do admire] – don’t drive around and waste your own gas. Park your rigs in the middle of Independence, get out and walk to Bullfeathers and grab a few cocktails. That’ll work better.

Dear Mother Trucker,
You can’t park your truck on Independence ’cause trucks aren’t allowed on Independence. Driving around is your only option to protest, unless they walk around the halls of Congress–where Members will childishly hide in their offices avoiding them.
Remember Mother Trucker, the same Democraps that “are trying to save the planet here” are the LAST people who are willing to listen to these hard working folks. Their concern is making sure they feel good by buy indulgences, I mean carbon credits, with yours and my tax payer dollars.

“Democraps?” Wow, that’s gold, Honky. Gold! Do you write your own material? I can’t believe just one person can come up with something so clever and witty. You must have an entire staff that writes your online puns, am I right? Bet that costs a bundle. Do you pay well? What about benefits? Do you offer health care? I mean, you have to, right? To keep a crack staff like that happy. Amazing. I’m sure they’ve won plenty of awards. With gems like “Democraps,” how could they not?
